We are pleased to announce that Mr Alex Karidis and a small team are back in clinic. Your health and wellbeing are at the centre of our new working framework and practices.

In order to give you the safest experience with us, we have implemented a number of new measures to protect you and so you will see some differences in clinic.

Our location

Our practice is based on the 3rd floor within the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth. We continue to provide a high level of safety and care

Infection prevention

We have been working with microbiologists from PHE to implement the highest standards of infection prevention and control management

Personal protection

We are protecting our patients by providing PPE and training staff in safe donning and doffing and providing disposal bins throughout

Changes to reception

Our reception desk has been fitted with a protective screen to limit direct contact between patients and staff

Social distancing

We are also limiting the number of our patients within the clinic at any one time and spacing out the waiting area

Cleaning protocols

We have closed our restroom facilities - public restrooms are still available in the main hospital and are cleaned in line with infection control policies

Hand sanitisers provided

Our team has been trained to wash hands frequently and we are providing easy-to-use touch free hand sanitising stations for your protection

New cleaning measures

Our cleaning rotations and policies in clinic have been revised in line with infection control and management policies

Bookings and payments

These will be taken online to avoid unnecessary contact. If card machines are used to take payment, they will be sanitised after each use

Virtual consultations

Prior to your treatment, we are offering virtual consultations. For cosmetic surgery procedures, this may be a two-part consultation

Online forms

All medical questionnaires and consent forms are available for completion online prior to your appointment

Solo appointments

Please attend your appointment on your own. To protect them and others, please do not bring friends, family or children with you

Treatment prep

If you are undergoing a procedure, you will be asked to come ready for treatment without make-up which will limit your exposure to others

Timings

Please arrive at the door of the practice no earlier than 5 minutes before your allotted time to minimise numbers in clinic

Always on hand

The time we physically spend with you may be reduced at the present, but we are always here to answer all of your questions

YOUR SURGERY OPTIONS

At the Karidis Clinic, we are cosmetic surgery experts. Our skilled staff also offer a number of non-surgical treatments. Whatever you are interested in, we can guide you. The decision to undergo surgery requires expert advice, tailored to your individual situation. For this reason, all Karidis clients begin with an in-depth consultation with our founder, leading plastic and cosmetic surgeon Mr Karidis.

The consultation is the most essential part of the Karidis process. Mr Karidis is renowned for the honesty of his approach – all clients leave with an improved understanding of their surgery options. We recommend doing your own research first, but if you are considering putting yourself in the hands of any surgeon, nothing is more important than that first consultation.

What You Can Expect

Your initial consultation will involve working with Mr Karidis to look honestly at your goals. You can trust that Mr Karidis will never recommend surgery if he doesn’t think that it will benefit you or achieve your aims. As an accredited member of psychotherapist Norman Wright’s Pre and Post Procedure Support Program (PaPPS), every member of the Karidis team is trained to see the person behind the patient, and your experience at Karidis will be tailored to you. A Patient Coordinator will see you through every aspect of the cosmetic surgery process and your aftercare will be overseen by Mr Karidis.

In terms of outcome, Mr Karidis strives for a natural look. This might not be something typically associated with cosmetic surgery, but as he says: ‘The aim of surgery is to make people look better, not different. I believe in classic, natural, soft beauty.” With Karidis, you can be confident of natural, beautiful results.
