Every Karidis Clinic surgical patient has an overnight stay at the hospital in their new refurbished wards. Each patient has their own private room with spacious ensuite bathroom. Rooms are stylish and luxurious and boast stylish fixtures and fittings, Bluetooth-controlled air conditioning systems and smart TVs.

Since 2018, the hospital has built a new, three-storey, £35 million wing. The new building houses six, new state-of-the-art theatres over two floors. Featuring the latest X-ray technology, as well as the best in class CT Scanners and ultrasound equipment, the wards have been specially designed to create a calming environment, with spacious corridors, a tasteful, neutral colour palette and rooms flooded with natural light. Every detail is carefully curated to promote wellbeing for our patients.

If you’re undergoing a surgical procedure you are welcomed into our newly refurbished wards for the duration of your stay. Here, you’ll receive your own room to ensure maximum comfort and privacy. We are constantly evolving and enhancing the support we provide for patients and now offer access to our Karidis Clinic patient coaches.

The service is led by certified Transformational Life Coach, Kimberley, who brings her experience as a coach to supporting patients through their surgical journey. Kimberley has been with the Karidis team for over five years as Clinic Manager and brings this wealth of experience to her role of Patient Coach.

Once you have booked your surgery, you will have access to two coaching sessions with our coaches both pre- and post-operatively which we can offer online via Zoom or other platforms.

The purpose of these sessions is to provide you with the opportunity to discuss what may be coming up for you around your surgery in a safe and confidential space and to enable you to feel prepared for the important healing period after your procedure.

You will have a devoted patient coordinator throughout your surgical journey who ensure each patient has the best possible experience. They have a unique ability to make the patient feel comfortable, enabling them to ask all the relevant questions needed prior to their procedure. Rest assured, you will feel in great hands.

Karidis Clinic can offer an interpreting service called Silent Sounds. Please let us know what your first language is when you are arranging your initial consultation and we will arrange interpreting services accordingly.

Silent Sounds can provide a range of services with over 250 languages for Face to Face, Video and Telephone Interpreting, as well as British Sign Language.

The charitable endeavours of the hospital mean that by choosing Karidis, you will be giving back to local communities. As London’s leading charitable hospital, all profits go towards providing free specialist palliative care to more than 4,500 local patients and their families at the on-site hospice. As part of the hospital’s community, Karidis continues to contribute to its charitable mission, donating over £10,000 to the newly refurbished hospice space.
