Plastic surgery becomes mainstream
New research commissioned for the launch of a new podcast on cosmetic surgery reveals that women are much more likely than men to want to change elements of their appearance, with a stronger endorsement from men and women under the age of 24 compared to older age groups.
Plastic surgery is becoming more mainstream, with 14% of respondents open to the idea, rising to 25% among those aged 25-34 and 21% among people living with a partner. This reflects shifting attitudes toward body modification and enhancement among younger, more relationship-active individuals.
