Since CoolSculpting was introduced in the UK ten years ago, it has revolutionised the fat reduction market, offering a highly effective but non-invasive body contouring alternative to liposuction.
CoolSculpting utilises cryolipolysis technology to freeze fat cells without any damage to the surrounding tissue or overlying skin. The fat cells crystallise and are then gently and naturally eliminated by the body. It’s particularly successful at targeting pockets of stubborn fat so is fantastic for treating a double chin, bingo wings, back or bra fat, tummy fat, muffin tops and saddlebags.Â
What affects the cost of non-invasive fat reduction?
During your CoolSculpting consultation, your Karidis Clinic aesthetic practitioner will discuss your aesthetic concerns and what you’re hoping to achieve. They will also assess you physically to ensure you have bulges of fat in the specific treatment area that can be gripped by the CoolSculpting device.
The CoolSculpting cost will depend on the amount of areas you wish to have treated, the size of the treatment area, and what results you’re expecting. Typically, each session will remove up to 27% of fat cells, so you may require more than one session to achieve the results you are hoping to achieve.
How much does CoolSculpting cost compared to liposuction?
Each CoolSculpting session will cost significantly less than liposuction. Liposuction is a surgical procedure so the cost will include surgical and hospital fees. However, lipo remains the gold standard of body contouring and you may require multiple CoolSculpting sessions to achieve similar results although you avoid the downtime and potential risks associated with liposuction.
How do I protect my fat reduction results?
Although the fat cells are permanently removed, not all fat cells are eliminated and it’s possible to put on weight in the future. The ideal candidate is therefore close to or at the ideal body weight and is committed to a healthy diet and exercise routine.
How much is CoolSculpting at our London aesthetic clinic?
CoolSculpting costs from £640, but the per area price is reduced when multiple areas are being treated in one session.
