International Nurses Day: spotlight on our squad

patient care at Karidis Clinic

Every year on 12 May, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth, International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world. Karidis Clinic is super-powered by nurses, and we take this moment to honour their hard work and dedication.

This year’s International Nurses Day, the focus is on showcasing their incredible work and the difference they make to their patient’s lives by sharing their #BestOfNursing stories.

Our Non-Surgical Lead Suzi worked with Mr Alex Karidis for many years as his surgical nurse before becoming a highly experienced and skilled aesthetic practitioner who champions the Karidis ethos of injecting with integrity and subtlety.

“Suzi’s attention to detail and genuine desire to create and build a treatment plan that will achieve exceptional results for me has completely exceeded all my expectations.” 5-STAR PATIENT REVIEW

Romy’s passion for care and recovery led her to join Karidis Clinic as Mr Karidis’ surgical nurse before transitioning to our aesthetics team. Her soothing, reassuring manner combined with her skill and expertise make her an invaluable addition.

“I really enjoy wrinkle relaxing injections as it’s such a problem-solving treatment. I’ve seen patients with deep lines across the brow that are smoothed away after a few sessions. In fact, I love it when a patient lies down and says just do the same thing as last time as you know you made them happy.”

“Romy is extremely caring and very professional… she takes time and really knows her stuff.” 5-STAR PATIENT REVIEW

Stevie joined Karidis Clinic as our surgical nurse in May 2021 when the opportunity arose to work with such a renowned surgeon, supported by a great team.

“Working in A&E meant only seeing patients for a very limited part of their journey. What I love about my current role is that I help patients prepare for their procedure, care for them on the day of the surgery, regularly check up on them afterwards and become a friend on the end of the phone while they are recovering.”

“Stevie my nurse was a massive support and was at the end of the phone 24 hours if I had any concerns.” 5-STAR PATIENT REVIEW
