EXPERIENCED SURGEONS, EXCELLENT RESULTS

Do you feel that your nipples stick out too far, are too wide or misshapen? Nipples of this description are often called ‘pointed’. This may be causing you to avoid wearing certain items of clothing or swimwear, and sometimes it causes such embarrassment that it can affect your relationships. Your nipples are crucial to the aesthetic appearance of your whole breast, and it’s important that you feel good in yourself.

Protruding nipples can affect both women and men. For women, it’s common for pregnancy and breastfeeding to change the shape of your nipples, which can lead to low self-esteem. Enlarged nipples in men can be a result of excess fat, certain exercise or hormonal imbalances.

Whatever your reason for researching nipple reduction surgery, our surgeons at Kardis are highly experienced and achieve results which have changed our patient’s lives for the better. As you’ll have access to a whole team of experts at Karidis, you’ll have the convenience of combining treatments if you wish.

WHAT IS NIPPLE REDUCTION?

Nipple reduction is a surgery which reduces the amount in which your nipples stick out and their circumference. It’s common for us to perform nipple reductions along with a breast lift or breast augmentation. However some patients want nipple reduction as a stand-alone procedure.

WHY MIGHT NIPPLE REDUCTION BE REQUIRED?

You might benefit from nipple reduction if you’re currently feeling unhappy about the following:

  • Your nipples are disproportionately large compared with the size of your breasts
  • You have large nipples which can cause them to be puffy or pointed (and this can lead to chafing)
  • Your nipples showing through your clothing
  • You have conditions such as tuberous breasts (the breast tissue doesn’t develop normally) or gynecomastia (an increase in the amount of breast gland tissue in boys or men)
