It’s that time of year when you suddenly become conscious that your lips are less than luscious and you start to look for ways to perfect your pout. Full lips are the most preferred lip shape, but one recent global survey of 1,000 people from 35 different countries found that the key to the ultimate lip look is actually symmetry. Published in the Journal of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery, the survey found that more than 60% of respondents chose the 1:1 ratio between the upper and lower lip as the most attractive shape, as sported by Scarlett Johansson. Second, came a fuller lower lip, whether natural or enhanced as in the case of Kylie Jenner.
A highly defined Cupid’s bow is also perceived as highly attractive and dermal fillers can be used to enhance and further define the natural vertical columns of the upper lip.

Your lip shape and size are genetically determined, but sadly we all get thinner lips overtime.
