The procedure is performed using the ICLED® Surgical Suture System, the first and only patented light-guided technology for facial cosmetic procedures.

Instead of cutting the skin, Mr Mark Ho-Asjoe is able to use the LED light transillumination to guide the sutures to the correct depth and direction to support the underlying tissue and muscles.



MyEllevate is typically performed on men and women in their 40s who are experiencing ageing changes to the lower face. However, it can also be performed on younger patients that are dissatisfied with the appearance of the jawline and desire a more refined contour to the jaw and neck.

Realistic expectations are essential as MyEllevate is not a surgical procedure and cannot produce the same results as a facelift. As a highly experienced cosmetic surgeon, Mr Mark Ho-Asjoe can offer expert, unbiased advice on which procedure is most likely to achieve the results you desire.


Patients will need to wear a neck brace for two weeks. Typically, they can return to normal activities within a week, although we advise against heavy lifting. You may experience minor bruising and swelling, but this should quickly resolve. Any discomfort can be managed with over-the-counter pain medication.


As a minimally invasive procedure performed under local anaesthetic, risks are much reduced compared to a surgical procedure. Infection, bleeding and swelling are some of the risks that can occur. Tiny incisions are made to insert the illuminated Suturod® technology and sutures, so any scars should be unnoticeable when healed.


The sculpted and defined results should last for five years or more.
