What is profhilo treatment?
Reverse the early signs of ageing and hydrate the skin with Profhilo treatment, a unique skin rejuvenation treatment that boosts collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. This new development in injectables, known as skin boosters, deliver an instant hit of hydration and radiance.
Unlike traditional dermal fillers which add volume and contour the face, injectables such as Profhilo and Teosyal’s Redensity 1 contain high levels of hyaluronic acid which spreads evenly throughout the skin to boost skin hydration.
Unlike dermal fillers which volumise the face, Profhilo works by rebuilding the skin from within, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. Profhilo is clinically proven to address ageing concerns, such as dull, tired skin and fine lines and wrinkles across the face, neck, decolletage and hands.
The treatment is suitable for men and women and is particularly effective for those that are experiencing the first signs of skin ageing.

Profhilo Treatment FAQs
Hyaluronic acid draws and holds water in the skin, so Profhilo works as a hydrator rather than a filler. Dull, tired-looking skin is transformed into a luminous, glowing complexion within three to five days of your treatment.
Profhilo is injected just beneath the skin’s surface, in approximately ten injection sites, rapidly dispersing in the top layer of the dermis. Therefore, there is no risk of lumps accumulating and no need for massage, although we advise you to avoid strenuous activity, use of saunas or steam rooms, or intense sun exposure in the first 24 hours.
Treatment varies depending on your unique concerns, but typically two treatments, spaced at four weeks, produces optimal results.
We find that our patients generally say they experience only mild discomfort. The injections might sting a little. Post-treatment, you may feel a little tender in the areas which have been treated, but only for the first 24 – 72 hours — it passes.
Profhilo is a very safe treatment and can be used to reverse skin ageing on the face and neck. It can also be used on the body and patients have seen fantastic results on the hands, decolletage and arms.
Dermal fillers volumise the area that they are injected, but Profhilo can produce an all-over skin rejuvenation.
The longevity of your results varies, but we find patients typically need 2-4 treatments and may request a top-up at six months.
