What is breast revision surgery?
Corrective and revision breast surgery is becoming increasingly popular to correct uneven or asymmetrical breasts or past surgery issues. At Karidis Clinic, all breast revision procedures are carried out by one of the best-known breast revision surgeons in London, Mr Alex Karidis.
This is a new and expanding field of surgery which has opened up as a result of unsatisfactory results from the hundreds of thousands of breast procedures that have been performed over the last 25 years. Corrective or revision surgery can be performed following breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast uplift, mastectomy surgery or any combination of these.
While some corrective or revision breast cases might involve straightforward surgical solutions, others can be much more complex, requiring some detailed expertise and planning. Each case has its own unique set of issues, as well as solutions, which is why only a one to one consultation at our London clinic will give you a detailed account or the feedback you need for your case.
Why might breast revision surgery be required?
Corrective or revision breast procedures might be required if a patient has undergone breast surgery from another surgeon but is dissatisfied with the appearance and would like results improved. Issues are commonly referred to as drooping, asymmetrical breasts, bottoming out or uniboob. Mr Karidis has nearly 20 years of experience correcting unsatisfactory results, and is therefore in an excellent position to offer sound and sensible advice with the aim of addressing your problem.
Once you have had a consultation with Mr Karidis, who will listen to all your concerns and critically assess the breast tissue, previous surgery, scars, implants, and likely outcome, there will be ample opportunity to discuss all the possible options open to you.
Karidis offer expert cosmetic surgery and aftercare in London, from some of the best, most highly skilled medical professionals.
